A Great Start to the Week in 1RS
1RS have had a strong start to the week.
In maths, we have been learning about grouping different objects based on their classifications.
In literacy we have been using colourful semantics to write sentences including at least one noun and a verb. The children were very good at this and they enjoyed singing 'The sentence song' to support them in editing their work.
We had lots of fun in geography too - the children were learning all about seasons and they practiced their cutting and sticking skills to sort pictures into their correct group. We are really looking forward to the rest of our week, we even explored different textures linked to each season.
