A special visit from the Phoenix Club!

As part of our Mental Health vision this year for 'Let's Connect,' 12 members from the Phoenix club in St Edward the Confessor Romford, visited our school for a special assembly. They shared an exciting array of stories about their youth, from games, school life, family life, what it was like during the war and even how one member received an MBE from the late Queen. The children loved asking questions and hearing about how their lives were similar and different to their own.
