Planting & Growing Seeds
In year 2, we are learning about how plants grow from a seed to a plant through gardening. By planting and caring for our own seeds, we are observing the changes that happen as they begin to sprout and develop.
We are also learning that plants need water, light and a suitable temperature to stay healthy. The children are exploring how to create the right conditions for growth and are developing their understanding of how plants survive and thrive.
