What a fantastic start to the summer term! It has been wonderful to see our children settling back into school routines with enthusiasm and excitement.
We kicked off our final term with an amazing singing assembly that brought our school together in harmony and joy. The children displayed their musical talents and shared their love for singing with the whole school community. A truly spirit-lifting start to the summer term.
Our Year 3 pupils had a fabulous time exploring Colchester Castle! They enjoyed a day full of adventure, history and learning, making some great memories along the way. Well done to all the children for their excellent behaviour and curiosity.
We would also like to say big congratulations to our Year 5 and Year 6 children who took part in the Quad Kids athletics event. They did an incredible job, demonstrating teamwork, determination and sportsmanship. We are very proud of their achievements!
This week we focused on the value of Forgiveness. It was heartening to see how our children have embraced this virtue, especially as they settled back into their playground routines. Their kindness and understanding have been truly inspiring.
Mrs Ward safely gave birth to a beautiful bouncing baby boy on Wednesday and we are delighted to welcome him to our school family. Congratulations and love to the Ward Family.

Year 6 Leavers’ Service
Services take place next Monday and Tuesday for our Year 6 children at Chelmsford Cathedral. 6I will visit on Monday afternoon, 6PR on Tuesday morning and 6CS on Tuesday afternoon.
Breakfast and After School Club
Please remember that if you need to use our Breakfast and After School Club you must book via Parentpay so that we know who to expect. If possible, please book Breakfast club by 6.00pm the evening before and the After School Club by 1pm on the day.
Summer HAF Club – Weeks commencing 4th, 11th and 18th August
On Monday we sent an email inviting you to book children in to our Summer Holiday Club. Places are starting to fill up so please check the email and make your booking as soon as possible.
