Weekly News
What a fantastic week it has been! It has certainly been a busy one, but also full of so many moments to celebrate. This was especially evident in our Celebration Assemblies today, where we recognised Stars of the Week, Times Tables champions, sporting achievements, pupil presentations and even enjoyed a musical performance!
Parents' Evening
It was a real pleasure to welcome so many of you into school for our Parents’ Evenings this week. We truly value the opportunity to work in partnership with you and to share your child’s progress. Working together in this way helps us to ensure that every child has the very best experience at school and we are extremely grateful for your continued support.
Collective Worship
In our Collective Worship this week with Mr Speller, we explored the next part of the Easter story, focusing on Good Friday. We reflected on the significance of this day and what it teaches us about love, sacrifice and hope. The children engaged thoughtfully with these ideas and considered what they mean for us in our daily lives.
Concerts
On Tuesday, we had the pleasure of taking some of our Year 5 children to the Royal Albert Hall, where they took part in the Prom Praises concert. This was a truly special experience and the children represented the school brilliantly. It was also such a treat to have the opportunity to visit and perform in such an iconic venue!
On Monday our Year 4 children will be visiting the Barbican to enjoy a concert by the London Symphony Orchestra, so we are sure this will be an equally memorable experience.
Extra-Curricular Clubs
Next week is the final week of our school-run clubs for this term. We would like to say a big thank you to our staff for their time and commitment in running these clubs. We are currently planning our programme of clubs for the Summer term, which we are sure will be just as exciting.
End of Financial Year
Our Business Team will be working hard through the next few weeks as it is the end of the school financial year. Please can you assist us in making sure that any outstanding payments for Swimming Donations, Breakfast, Afterschool Club and Nursery are settled by Wednesday 25th March.
End of Term
A reminder that next week is, unbelievably, the last week of the Spring Term. Next Friday will be the last day of term before the Easter holiday break and we return on Monday 13th April.
Wishing you all a restful and peaceful weekend.
