Weekly News

Happy Friday! I hope you've all had a positive and fulfilling week. It has been a busy and exciting time at school, with ongoing sports competitions and visits from theatre companies. It’s been wonderful to see the children so focused and engaged in their learning.

During Collective Worship this week, we reflected on our New Year's resolutions. This was a meaningful opportunity for both the children and us as adults to look back on the past year and set intentions for the year ahead. We discussed the story of Peter’s calling from the Bible, highlighting the significant changes he made when he followed Jesus. Similarly, this new year presents a chance for all of us to consider what changes or goals we might pursue. It could be an excellent time to think about how you might further support your child—perhaps by reading with them more regularly, ensuring regular punctual attendance, or exploring new extracurricular activities. Amid the busyness of life, I too will be taking time as a parent to reflect on how I can support my own children in this new season.

Parent Governor Election

Many congratulations to Mr Ashley Francis who has been elected to the role of Parent Governor. We had 244 votes, which is excellent, so thank you for your participation.

Extra-Curricular Clubs

We are really proud to have, once again, such an excellent array of clubs on offer, with over 40 once again this term. A number of parents have already booked up, but there is still time. If you have any questions, or need support with this, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
