I hope you have had a good week. At the end of our second week of this new year, we are now well and truly settling into new routines. It has been great to see the children building such positive relationships with their new teachers and beginning this years’ work with such focus and determination.
We have also had a first ‘normal’ week with our Reception and Nursery children. It has been wonderful to see them settle into their routines and see friendships begin to grow, which we know will last many years.
Please see, below, a few notices:
School Closure- Monday 19th September
School will be closed on Monday due to the recently designated Bank Holiday to mark the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. Children should return to school, as normal, on Tuesday 20th September.
On Monday our Year 6 children who are going to Carroty Wood residential will be travelling as originally planned. These children should arrive at school no later than 8:35am.

Bishop Guli Visit
On Tuesday, the Bishop of Chelmsford, Rt Rev Guli Francis-Dehqani will be visiting the school. She will be joining children in class and will be leading an assembly, talking about her journey and the role of the Bishop. We very much look forward to welcoming her to our school.
