Weekly Update
Dear Parents/Carers,
We hope this email finds you well! This week, our Year 6 children have sat their statutory assessments ‘SATs’. They have been just incredible. We are so proud of the maturity, focus and resilience they have shown. Today they have been celebrating by having a day at the park before, next week, they begin to ‘Oom-Pah-Pah’ ready for their end of year performance which this year will be ‘Oliver the Musical’. Information about tickets will be shared in a few weeks.
Next week is our last week before half term. Extra-Curricular clubs will be running as normal. Please find important news and information for the coming weeks.
Class Photos & Year 6 Photo
As stated on our parent calendar, next Tuesday (21st May) is Class Photo day! Please ensure your children are in school in their correct summer uniform. Children should NOT wear PE Kit, even if it is their normal PE day.
On Wednesday, 22nd May, Year 6 will also be having their end of year ‘Year Group’ photo. Please ensure children are in their correct uniform (summer t-shirts or blue blouses) for this.
Bell Ringing Project
We are really fortunate that our Year 6 children will be taking part in a special bellringing project next week. This includes a mobile ‘bell tower’ being brought to our school playground on Thursday and Friday. We look forward to celebrating this wonderful learning with you and also sending out some more information about how you can get involved with this great skill and hobby.
We hope you have a fantastic weekend and we look forward to seeing your children in school on Monday.
Kind regards,
Chris Speller
