Weekly Update

Dear Parents/Carers,

I hope you have had a fantastic week.

As you will be aware, we have had a number of children back in school this week. We have had a lovely time ensuring that children settle back in and begin a pattern of learning again, whilst ensuring that we put measures in place to keep safe. I have attached some pictures to this email of some of the things we are doing in order to keep our children safe and how school ‘looks different’ at this time.

Next week we will be writing to parents in Nursery, Reception & Year 1 to allow parents to sign up for their children to re-join on Monday 15th June. We will also do the same to allow the first cohort of Year 6 children to join on the same date.

At the moment, the government have not confirmed that they would like other year groups (outside of Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6) to rejoin school. If this decision is made, we will then reflect on the staffing and space capacity we have in school, whether we can accommodate other year groups and in what pattern they will come to school.  If we have a large number of Nursery, Reception or Year 1 children, we may have to split each class into two bubbles, which may effect how many other children can return.  We will keep you updated with these plans as they develop.

Work packs for next week are now available in our normal place on the school website. Please do take a look.

Celebration Assembly will be at 2 pm today on Facebook. Please do join us!

Have a fantastic week,

Kind regards and many blessings,

Chris Speller
