Friday, 20th May 2022
I hope this email finds you well. We are just one week away from the end of another half term. How time flies! Next week is a particularly busy week in school, please do take note of the notices below:
Due to illness, our School Class Photos had to be rearranged on Tuesday. They will now be this coming Tuesday (24th May). Please ensure your children come into school in the correct Summer uniform.
Dress Up Day
On Thursday, as part of our Jubilee Celebrations, children are very welcome to come into school dressed in Red, White and Blue. The more colourful, the better!
A reminder that school finishes at 2pm on Thursday (26th May) to allow children and families to attend our Jubilee Fayre, which runs from 2pm until 6pm. Upper School Children will need to be collected from the 'exit' gate route, as the driveway alongside the swimming pool will be closed for access. Staff will be on hand to help direct parents. Please do come and join us for this special and exciting event.
On this day, our After School Club will run as normal. Please ensure you book this in advance. We will be in touch with the parents of children who have booked on to ask them if they wish for their children to be taken, by the After School Club staff, to the Fayre.
This event will replace the popular PTA summer fete that has run successfully at the school for many years. All money raised next week will support the school fund and extra-curricular activities for your children.
School is closed on Friday, 27th May for an INSET Day. The following week (Monday 30th May- Friday 3rd June) is half term. Children should return to school at 8:35am on Monday 6th June for the start of the second half of the Summer Term.
Book of Condolence for Emmanuel
Thank you to all of those parents and children who have contributed to the floral tribute to Emmanuel at the front of the school. Until next Thursday, we will have a Book of Condolence open, in the Main Office, for parents to leave messages to the family, if you wish.
We have had a number of cases of Chickenpox in school this week, particularly affecting Year 2. Please do keep a close eye on your child for any spots or symptoms.
Have a lovely, enjoyable and peaceful weekend.
