Dear Parents/Carers,


Here we are at the final half term of this academic year. There are many exciting things taking place this term whilst we are also ensuring that we continue with learning through to the end of the academic year.


Please see below a number of key events and dates for this term.

Friday, 25th June                                  Year 3 to Colchester Castle


w/c Monday, 28th June                      Science Week & Year 5 Cycle Confident


Friday, 2nd July                                      Reports sent home to parents

Tuesday, 6th July                                  Year 1 & 2 Sports Day

Wednesday, 7th July                             Year 5 & 6 Sports Day

Thursday, 8th July                                 Year 3 & 4 Sports Day

Friday, 9th July                                      Reception Year Sports Day

Saturday, 10th July                               St Edward’s Church Summer Fair (at church)

Friday, 23rd July at 1:30pm                Year 6 Leavers Assembly on the field (2x adults welcome to attend per child) 

Friday, 23rd July                                    Last Day of Term


Sports Day

Due to COVID restrictions, Local Authority guidelines will not allow parents to attend Sports Days this year. We will ensure that these are celebrated and shared through our school website and social media



A reminder to parents that children should come to school wearing their blazers every day, except on those days when they are in their PE kits. 


Term Dates for 2021-22

Term Dates for the next academic year are attached to this email. There may be an additional day off, due to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, but this is yet to be confirmed. Please note that children return to school on Thursday, 2nd September.
